Built for buyers who stall on operational risk. Four roles, eight phases, and a real time cost on every step.

Problem:

Four people have to sign off, and each one is afraid of something different.

A Director of Dining needs to know her chef is not taking on a second job. A chef needs to know his line cooks will not push back. A sustainability lead needs to know when usable data starts showing up.

Implementation lived in scattered slides and verbal walkthroughs, so each person filled in the blanks themselves. Deals stalled on operational risk, not price. Topanga's own campaign named the barrier as the fear of yet another tool.

My contribution:

Each role could see their own steps, but not anyone else's.

That gap was the real problem. A chef reading his own row still had no idea what he was asking of his line cooks, and that is the question stalling the deal.

I added a connected strip to every phase card showing what each other role is doing at that same point. A Director of Dining reading her own lane sees that her chef assembles the scales in twenty minutes and her line cooks tap one button per tray, without going to look for it.

That turned four separate journeys into one shared process, which is what a buying committee needs to see.
