I’m Loren Lam

I've been designing for 14+ years, most of them at Ontraport, where I worked my way up to Creative Director and built a creative team along the way. I was always a working CD, designing alongside my team. These days I've stepped out of managing and back into making full time, which is where I'm happiest.

I'm a fine artist too. I sell prints through my studio, Space Broccoli, and draw blind contour portraits at live events. That side of me is why I care so much about the details. But pretty isn't the goal on its own. The work has to do its job, whether that's getting more people to sign up or helping a team make on-brand stuff without waiting on a designer.

My whole approach comes down to this: humans gonna human. People skim, get distracted, show up stressed, and click the wrong thing. I love digging into those quirks, because that's usually where the good ideas are.
